  • How to make a backup file?
  • In billing software go to setting - Backup Data and click on “Backup” when prompted. Pick a safe location on your computer and click on Save. Make sure you regularly make backups of your company data so that you cannot lose it. Remember this is an offline software, so all data is safely stored in your computers.
  • How to restore a backup file?
  • In the Business billing software go to setting - Restore Data and click on “Restore” when prompted. Select your Billing software backup file from where you saved it and click on “Restore”. In a few seconds your company data will be restored and you can resume billing with your data.
  • How can I add CESS in invoices?
  • When making an invoice, you can add CESS to the items in your document. In a new invoice, You can also add CESS to items directly, saving the CESS amount for a specific item each time you add that item in your invoice. In Products / Services, double click on one of your items to open the editing screen. In the lower part, as seen in the below picture, you can see a field for adding CESS. You can add CESS as a percentage %.
  • How to configure a Gmail account in The Billing Software to send documents via email?
  • After the last Gmail update, new security measures were included. Here are the steps to activate the emailing feature in billing software:

    a. Go to Gmail Settings

    -> After the last attempt you got an email from gmail in your account titled „Sign-in attempt prevented”. What Gmail needs is for you to manually allow other apps to use your email.

    To do this, please log in to your desired gmail address and go here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255

    b. Once the page loads, please click on "Less secure apps” section,
    c. From the new page, click „Enable”, to the right, and then close the tab.

    -> After you have done this, you can open Billing software and send documents via gmail, provided the correct address and password are introduced.

    b) Then hover over the small icon on the bottom right and when the Charm Menu comes out from the right side of the screen click on the Magnifying glass for Search

    c) Search for Control Panel then select Control Panel and open it.

    d) Select Uninstall a program, and select the program you want to uninstall

    e) Right-click on the selected program and select Uninstall/change

    f) Follow the prompts to uninstall

  • I keep getting an error when selecting the A5, small invoice size. Is there a solution?

  • If you have made a new invoice and have selected the small template (Model2, small), there is a chance your data will not fit. Here are some possible situations and their solutions:

    a. You have more than four products listed.
    -> This type of invoice is designed to fit a small number of products. If you want to add more than 4, then you need to go to Settings -> Printing ->Printing Template and tick the box that says “A5 Template invoice to have more than one page”.

    b. You have activated the "Round off the Total" option.
    -> The space allocated to the lower part is limited. Options like "Round off the total" add another line, which may cause the document length to go over the limit. Deativating it may allow the invoice to fit in A5.

    d. You have added a Discount to the Total Amount.
    -> As the space here is limited, removing such options, may help the invoice fit in the smaller size.

    e. You have added long Notes to the Invoice.
    -> As the space here is limited, Notes can extend the length of the document causing it to go over the limit. Removing or shortening the note should help.
